No. 77 ranked recruit Nyadieng “Nidi” Yiech has signed to the Gators.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. —The University of Florida Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/kelly-rae-finley/1866> and her staff have announced the signing of Nyadieng “Nidi” Yiech. Yiech is the No. 77 ranked prospect for the recruiting class of 2025 (ESPN HoopGurlz).
A 6’3″ forward from Ontario, Canada, Yiech currently attends Fort Erie International Academy. During the summer of 2024, Yiech was a member of Canadian National team and took home a silver medal at the U18 Americup.
Yiech also has experience playing a national schedule for Become One Canada Elite during the summers. Her numerous accolades include: Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association Second Team All-Star Honor, and 2023 Canada Basketball Nationals First Team All-Star Award. Yiech has participated in the UA Future 60 Camp and the 2024 All-Canada Nike 3-Point Shootout Games as well, adding to her list of highly competitive experiences.

Yiech, is the fourth addition to Finley’s recruiting class of 2025 and will join Emilija Dakic, Sara Deng and Catrina Piatti.
