The Gators see one player tabbed to ITA’s singles rankings, as well as two doubles pairings
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its latest national rankings with Florida men’s tennis securing spots in both singles and doubles.
Jeremy Jin<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/jeremy-jin/16118> is the Gators lone ranked singles player. Jin landed at No. 54 after coming in at No. 41 during the preseason. He also earned a spot alongside Kevin Edengren<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/kevin-edengren/16662>, with the pair coming in at No. 81, dropping slightly from their No. 76 preseason ranking. The duo is 1-1 on the season.
Tanapatt Nirundorn<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/tanapatt-nirundorn/16114> and Henry Jefferson<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/henry-jefferson/16661> climbed to No. 11, improving from their No. 16 preseason ranking. The pair holds a 2-1 overall record to open the season and has gone 1-1 against nationally ranked opponents.
Florida continues its spring season this weekend in Dallas, Texas. The Gators will face SMU on Friday and TCU on Sunday.
