The Gators finished 10th and continue the fall season at Olympia Fields Country for the Fighting Illini Collegiate Sept. 19-21.
SEATTLE – The No. 4 Florida men’s golf team concluded the season opener at the Sahalee Players Championship on Sunday, finishing 10th.
Junior Jack Turner posted the team-best finish at Sahalee Country Club with a T20 (+5) after a 5-under 67 yesterday. The next best finish in the lineup was from senior Matthew Kress in a tie for 30th at +8.
Both Parker Bell (+10) and Parker Sands (+11) each finished within a shot of another in T37 and T41. Also rounding out the lineup by a single stroke was Josh Bai (+15) and Zack Swanwick (+16) in T55 and T60.
The fall season continues at the Fighting Illini Collegiate (Sept. 19-21) at Olympia Fields Country Club.
