GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men’s basketball head coach Todd Golden has announced staff promotions, naming Jordan Jacobson as director of basketball operations and Nolan Crist as video coordinator. Jacobson<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/jordan-jacobson/1904> enters his fourth season with the Florida program, working two years as a graduate assistant and another as video coordinator. A native of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jacobson graduated from Michigan in 2021 and earned his Master’s degree at UF in 2023.
Crist<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/nolan-crist/2006> also enters his fourth season, previously working as a scouting and video assistant for two seasons and working as head manager last season. A native of Issaquah, Wash., Crist graduated from UF in 2023 and added a Master’s degree, also from Florida, in 2024.
Michelini<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/jon-michelini/1979> enters his 12th athletic season with the Gators following stints with the baseball and women’s basketball programs. His six seasons with the baseball team included four Southeastern Conference championships and the 2017 national championship. In five seasons with women’s basketball, Michelini was part of four postseason appearances, including a 2021 NCAA Tournament bid.
A native of Oradell, N.J., Michelini graduated from UF in 2001 and earned his Master’s degree from South Alabama in 2004. After his time at South Alabama, Michelini worked stints at Stetson and LSU before returning to Florida in January 2014.
