It will be Florida’s first trip to Wake Forest since December 3, 1994
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men’s basketball will visit Wake Forest in the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 7:15 p.m. Television network designation will be announced at a later date.
Florida will play an ACC-heavy nonconference slate with a contest vs. Virginia in Charlotte and a home meeting in the annual rivalry series with Florida State also on slated.
The Gators hold an all-time 7-5 record vs. Wake Forest, dating back to 1936. The teams last met on Dec. 20, 2014, a 63-50 Florida win in the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla. UF last visited Wake under Lon Kruger, an 81-70 victory on Dec. 3, 1994.
