BIRMINGHAM– The UAB men’s soccer team will be on the road to face Florida International on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Blazers (2-8-1, 0-1-1) lost their first spring conference matchup against Charlotte, 3-0. In this physical game, both teams combined for 27 fouls. UAB recorded two shot with one on goal by Guillermo Rodriguez.
ABOUT FIU
In their last game, the Panthers (2-2-0, 1-1-0) went the distance with No. 8 Marshall but lost 1-0 after the Thundering Herd scored the golden goal in the 92ndminute.
FIU is 2-1-0 at home this season.
THE SERIES VS. FIU
The teams are tied with seven wins each and a tie. In the last matchup at BBVA Field in 2019, FIU won 2-0.
