Bryant, Holloway, Moore and Todd all made their respective finals during Thursday’s action.

EUGENE, Ore. – After a two-day hiatus, the United States Track & Field Olympic Trials continued action on Thursday with six athletes advancing to the next round of their respective events. Four of the six athletes advanced to events finals: Claire Bryant, Grant Holloway, Jasmine Moore and Corvell Todd.

Cory McGee and Robert Gregory qualified for the semifinals of the 1500m and 200m, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED – Semifinals
Men’s 110m H
Grant Holloway is the only man to run sub 13 seconds in the 110m H this year. He has now done so twice, both coming at the Olympic Trials. After running the second-best time of his career in the opening round on Monday (12.92), he completed the semifinal round in 12.96.

Holloway’s quest for a U.S. National Title and a bid to the 2024 Paris Olympics will continue Friday, June 28 at 10:50 p.m. ET.

HOW IT HAPPENED – First Rounds
Men’s High Jump
With the opening bar set at 2.14m/7’0.25”, Corvell Todd was only required to make one clearance to advance to the event finals as the former Gator finished twelfth in the first-round competition.

Men’s High Jump finals are set for Sunday, June 30 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Women’s 1500m
In a competitive heat, Cory McGee surged to a first-place finish earning her an auto-qualifying bid into the semifinals. The Gator Alumni, who currently holds the school record in the 1500m finished with a time of 4:15.75.

Her semifinal race will take place tomorrow, Friday, June 28 at 8:53 p.m. ET.

Women’s Long Jump
Both Jasmine Moore and Claire Bryant advanced to the finals in the event, taking different routes to do so. Moore, having already made the 2024 Paris games in the Triple Jump, opened her series with a leap of 6.92m/22’8.5”. This mark was strong enough for Moore to pass on her other two attempts. She ended the competition as the second-place qualifier.

Bryant, on the other hand, secured her spot in the final with her last attempt. With marks of 6.18m and 6.26m placing her outside the top-12, Bryant had to exceed a mark of 6.37m to qualify for the next round. The 2024 NCAA Indoor & Outdoor Runner-Up in the Long Jump accomplished said feat, landing a jump of 6.51m/21’4.25” placing her ninth.

The Women’s Long Jump final is scheduled for Saturday, June 29 at 8:20 p.m. ET.

Men’s 200m
Robert Gregory cruised to a spot in the semifinal as he finished second in his heat and seventh overall. The senior, who finished second at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, recorded a time of 20.38 as he conserved some of his energy at the end of the race for the subsequent rounds.

The 200m semifinals will take place tomorrow (Friday, June 28) at 10:28 p.m. ET.
