GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another 10.0 – this time on vault – earned Gator senior Trinity Thomas her fourth Southeastern Conference Specialist Gymnast of the Week honor. She shared this week’s honor with Auburn’s Derrian Gobourne.
This is Thomas’ fourth SEC Specialist of the Week honor of 2022. Last week, she was the SEC Gymnast of the Week after her nation’s leading all-around (39.85) performance versus Oklahoma. Two other Gators earned SEC Specialist of Week honors this season – Alyssa Baumann (Week 1) and Nya Reed (Week 6).
Other Week 9 recipients are Sunisa Lee, Auburn (Gymnast of the Week) and Sophia Groth, Auburn (Freshman of the Week).
