The Detroit Lions point per quarter, opponents points per quarter, and league rankings in 2023:
OFFENSE
1st quarter – 7.1 points (2nd)
2nd quarter – 8.2 points (7th)
3rd quarter – 4.2 points (20th)
4th quarter – 8.0 points (3rd)
DEFENSE
1st quarter – 4.2 points (17th)
2nd quarter – 6.0 points (9th)
3rd quarter – 6.9 points (32nd)
4th quarter – 6.4 points (21st)
3rd quarter slump on offense and defense.
If the Lions Offensive and Defensive Coordinators do not address the playcalling in the 2nd Half. It may be a long season in 2024.
I wish nothing but the best for the Cardiac Cats in 2024. But these are a very disparaging bunch of stats. The 3rd quarter is our Achilles Heel. Fix this please Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.
