JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The University of Miami track and field team punched three tickets to the NCAA Championships on the final day of competition at the NCAA East First Round held at Hodges Stadium.
Christina Warren (triple jump), Sanaa Hebron (400m hurdles) and the women’s 4x400m relay of Serena Tate, Gabriella Grissom, Alyssa Robinson and Hebron earned their way into the championships held June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
Warren earned her spot after finishing 11th with a distance of 12.93m. The Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, native will be making her third-consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships and finished 16th a year ago.
Hebron won her heat at 55.47, the third-fastest time in the quarterfinals. The junior will make her second appearance at the NCAA Championships after finishing 16th in the event in 2023.
The 4x400m relay punched their ticket after finishing second in their heat with a season-best time of 3:28.89.
Joining Warren, Hebron and the relay team in Eugene on the women’s side is Deisiane Teixeira in the javelin.
