9/29/2024 | Women’s XC/Track & Field BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic’s track and field team met with Olympian gold medalist Twanisha “TeeTee” Terry on Saturday afternoon. The Owls got to hear from a native South Florida professional athlete. Terry is a local who graduated from Miami Northwestern and a couple of years later, fulfilled her lifelong dream to run in the 2024 Paris Olympics this past summer. She shared her experiences dating back to when she was a little girl starting to love the sport. Terry was able to share her collegiate experiences and life after college athletics into becoming a professional athlete, which led her to win a gold medal this summer.
