Tennis – Sharks Continue Play at PBA Invitational

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Tennis team continued play at the PBA Invitational on Saturday morning, taking on the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in a non-conference match. NSU won all four doubles matches and eight singles matches.

DOUBLES 
Priscila Janikian and Kristyna Hranacova defeated Karlsson Hantzis and Brito, 6-0
Isabella Ciancaglini and Sofia Shing were victorious over Ada Brown and Passerini, winning 6-3
Amina Sagadiyeva and Julia Moraes won versus Alina Hoermann and Frida Alsterhem 6-2
Moraes also teamed with Sofia Carpi, winning 6-1 against Jelsyvette Croes and Taylor Monfils 6-1

SINGLES
Sofia Shing defeated Karlsson-Hantzis, 6-0, 6-3
Kristyna Hranacova won versus Hoermann, 6-2, 6-2
Isabella Ciancaglini was victorious against Borja, 6-1, 6-4
Priscila Janikan defeated Brenner, 6-3, 6-3
Ita Habekovic won against Alsterhem, 6-0, 6-4
Amina Sagadiyeva defeated Brito, 6-1, 6-2
Sofia Carpi won 6-4, 6-1 against Brown
Maya Benaich defeated Lopez 6-1, 6-3
