BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University is offering Major League Baseball fans an alternative to watching their favorite team this Spring.
No professional baseball. No problem. Come watch future professionals. Twelve former FAU Owls have made it to the “Big Leagues”. Currently, fourteen former Owls are playing professional baseball. This season, sophomore Nolan Schanuel is rated the 8th best third baseman on the preseason DI Baseball Power list, among all college players and fellow sophomore Caleb Pendleton, is ranked the 25th best catcher by the same outlet. Both players learned their baseball skills on the treasure coast. Schanuel is from Park Vista High School and Pendleton is a Jensen Beach product.
Join the Owls at FAU Stadium wearing the gear of your favorite Major League team, purchase a ticket, as low as $10 for adults, $5 for children and receive a $5 voucher for any item at the FAU concession stand. This offer is for this weekend’s game versus Sacred Heart.
