South Florida Men’s Golf – Jake Peacock Ranked No. 25 in PGA Tour University Preseason Rankings

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (July 31, 2024) – PGA Tour University announced its preseason rankings for the Class of 2025, and the University of South Florida men’s golfer Jake Peacock earned the No. 25 spot. 

Peacock (Milton, Ga.) landed at the No. 25 spot. Earlier this year, he was named the American Conference Player of the Year, a member of the Ping Southeast All-Region Team, earned his second-consecutive CSC Academic All-District accolade, and collected his second GCAA All-American Scholar. In 2023-24, Peacock won two tournaments, including the 2024 AAC Championship. He added five top-10 finishes and shot par or better in 22 of 36 rounds, including 16 in the 60s on the season. In the conference championship, Peacock closed with a career-low 64 (-6) for a total of 199 (-11), his career-best 54-hole total. All three rounds were in the 60s in his five-shot victory. Peacock is an integrated public relations and advertising major with a 3.51 GPA.

In partnership with the World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®), PGA TOUR University ranks players based on the last two years of their collegiate careers. Eligible Tournaments include NCAA Division-I men’s team competitions, official PGA TOUR tournaments and select DP World Tour events. The Ranking Period for the Class of 2025 began Week 23/2023 and concludes May 26, 2025, following the final round of stroke play at the NCAA D-I Men’s National Championship.

USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 24 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
