Flory named most valuable men’s diver, Carvalho takes seventh in her final of 100 free

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Miami Hurricanes swimming & diving team wrapped up its run at the 2025 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.


Miami’s women ended the event in 10th place with 387 points, while Max Flory was named Most Valuable Men’s Diver of the meet.


On the final day of competition, Adrianna Cera was 19th in the conference in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:34.25), while Giulia Carvalho took seventh in the ‘B’ final of the 100-yard freestyle (48.40) to score points for the Hurricanes.


MK Kelley just missed out on a chance at qualifying for the night’s finals in the 200-yard backstroke, where she posted a time of 1:57.13.


In addition to Carvalho, Savannah Barr (50.01) also swam the 100-yard freestyle in the morning’s preliminary round.


Miami’s top entry in the 400-yard freestyle relay – comprised of Barr, Carvalho, Ashlyn Massey and Jacey Hinton, posted a time of 3:18.47 to cap the event.
