BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic softball returns home to take on the Golden Hurricanes on senior weekend. The Owls will face Tulsa for the first time in the American Athletic Conference. Game one of the three-game series is set for Friday, May 3, with the first pitch set for 6 p.m. The series’ last two games will take place on Saturday, May 4 and 5. All games will be aired on ESPN+.
The Owls improved their record (38-13, 18-6 AAC) and are tied at the top of the American Athletic Conference standings after taking the series from the Bulls in Tampa, Fla. Florida Atlantic now has a chance to clinch the AAC regular season championship title at home. For senior weekend, the Owls will recognize Trinity Schlotterbeck, Cally Kildow, Katelynn de Leon, Presley Leebrick, Zoey Jones, Kamryn Jackson, Becca Jones, Holley Peluso, Megan Moll, Cammeo Presutti, and Gabby Baylog on Sunday afternoon. The senior day recognition will be after game three of the series.
THE RUNDOWN
This meeting marks the 10th matchup between these two teams in program history. The first series dates back to Mar. 11, 2005. The last time these two teams faced each other was on Feb. 2018, when the Owls took the series 2-1 in Boca Raton, Fla. Florida Atlantic leads the series 6-3, and they will face each other for the first time in six years.

- Junior Ainsley Lambert leads the pitching staff with a 1.99 ERA on the season
- Lambert is ranked No. 4 in the nation in saves (7)
- Mora has totaled 17 multi-hit games on the year
- As a team, Florida Atlantic has registered 101 multi-hit games.
