Kids 12 and under can participate in a season full of fun
Fans can register at Saturday’s Fan Fest in the Yuengling Center
TAMPA, AUG. 8, 2019 – Bulls fans 12 years of age and younger are encouraged to join Rocky’s Rookies, the official kids club of USF Athletics, which will feature more benefits and unique experiences for the 2019-20 season, including exclusive participation in the Beef O’Brady’s Rocky’s Rookies on Parade pregame field run at Bulls’ football home games.
The first opportunity to sign up will be at this Saturday’s Fan Fest at the Yuengling Center (2-4 p.m.). Membership in Rocky’s Rookies costs only $25 per child ($20 for USF faculty/staff/alumni) and includes USF gear, access to exclusive events and experiences, free game tickets, and the opportunity to meet and enjoy experiences with other young Bulls fans.

USF Athletics events for the 2019-20 season get underway on Aug. 13 as the No. 18 ranked USF women’s soccer team hosts Stetson in an exhibition match at Corbett Stadium. The men’s soccer team begins action with an exhibition match vs. Eastern Florida State College on Aug. 17 and women’s volleyball hits the court for the first time on Aug. 30 with matches vs. UAB and Ball State at the Ball State Tournament in Muncie, Ind.
USF opens the football season on Fri., Aug. 30 with an ESPN primetime clash with Wisconsin at 7 p.m. in Raymond James Stadium. Season, single-game and ticket packages are available by calling 1-800-GoBulls or visiting USFBullstix.com or Ticketmaster.

USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men’s and women’s teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls’ athletic program began in 1965 and is in its 53rd season in 2018-19. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 18 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, and own 119 conference titles overall. Nine USF programs reached national post-season competition in the 2017-18 season and six were ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The Bulls posted a combined annual grade-point average over 3.0 for the fourth straight year in 2018-19 and have posted a program record nine straight semesters with a combined GPA over 3.0.
