BOCA RATON, Fla. – (May 7, 2020) – Florida Atlantic University has placed a record 262 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2019-20 academic year, as announced by the league on Thursday. “We are always proud of the academic success of our student-athletes, but even more so in the current environment,” said vice president and director of athletics, Brian White. “Our student-athletes do an incredible job representing FAU in the classroom, in competition and in the community. Academic honors such as this are a direct reflection of their dedication to all aspects of being a student-athlete. These accomplishments are also a testament to the hard work and dedication of our academics and student-athlete development staff and our coaches. Along with our student-athletes, they have fostered a culture of academic excellence that is paramount to everything we do in FAU Athletics.” The 262 student-athletes is the highest total for FAU since joining C-USA in 2013 and marks the sixth consecutive year the Owls have had 200-plus make the cut. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Those that maintain a 3.75 GPA or higher receive the Commissioner’s Academic Medal, which will be announced at a later date. 2019-20 FAU C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll members: Baseball (29) Bryce Allen Alex Arauz Zach Asnes Victor Castillo Charlie Concannon Hunter Cooley Jared DeSantolo Mike Entenza Garrett Evans Thomas Haggerty Mitchell Hartigan Corey Ireson Jacob Josey Ethan Kramer Tucker Mitchell Bobby Morgensen Dylan O’Connell Cade Parker Adrien Reese Ryan Sandberg Michael Schuler Matt Sparling Jack Stroud Andru Summerall Nicholas Toney Jackson Vescelus Dante Visconti Evan Waterbor Jackson Wenstrom Men’s Basketball (7) Michael Forrest Jailyn Ingram Dardan Kapiti Alejandro Ralat Cornelius Taylor Brant Ulmer Everett Winchester Men’s Cross Country (6) Sean Barone Djery Clement Jericho Cooey Preston Dunn Cristian Moreno Lachlan Shiver Football (32) Justin Agner Matthew Akuchie Ean Biancardi Marlon Bradley Caliph Brice James Brunson Harrison Bryant Ryan Cameron Dante Cousart Kelvin Dean Collin Dell Junior Diaz Ray Ellis Deondrick Harper Matt Hayball Jordan Helm Nolan Lynch Federico Maranges Larry McCammon John Mitchell Antarrius Moultrie Jared Nourse Terique Owens Logan Peterson Javion Posey John Raine Warren Sapp Aaron Shahriari Kaelen Skipper Adarius Tolliver Ryan Veingrad Malik Vigille Men’s Golf (5) Enrique Dimayuga Eric DeKarski Alex Maguire Karan Nalam Sully Zagerman Men’s Soccer (18) Tom Abrahamsson Jose Alastuey Jorge Rodrigo Albayeros Felipe Cardona Alonso Coello Camarero Marcelo da Silva Anton Blake Dean Arturo Ernand Hagay Jalon Felipe Mendes Ivan Mykhailenko Edgardo Obregon Diego Orduna Axel Pantaleon Andrew Pratt Omer Priyov Daniel Ragoo Daniel Skistad Men’s Swimming and Diving (13) Kyle Douglas Andrew Garcia Charles Greene Juan Imposimato Carter Januzelli Quinn LaCoursiere Braedan Leach Reilly Maguire Clay Riemenschneider Jack Shapiro Connor Smoak Garrett Stanley Brandon Turner Men’s Tennis (7) Luis Fernandez Labarta Bryan Kulikov Mehdi Laalej Maxime Lapraille Ivan Morin-Kougoucheff Hunter Robbins Gabriel Sidney Women’s Basketball (11) Tori Abelson Grace Collins Sofia Galeron Amber Gaston Juliette Gauthier Crystal Primm Janeta Rozentale Taylor Strawser Allie Tylka Lotta Vehka-Aho Abby Voss Beach Volleyball (15) Jackie Farris Kaila Dorish Lily Richman Courtney Moon Mackenzie Morris Savannah Pesante Erica Brok Maylin Bouffard Abby Jackson Ellie Austin Sam Gott Carolina Ferraris Megan McGrath Bailey Myott Jamie Wood Women’s Cross Country (10) Nina Endt Megan Giovanniello Marie Groppel Alexis Hill Mikaela Jonsson Madlen Kappeler Lauren Macon Casey O’Connor Morgan Sharp Jordan Stevens Women’s Golf (8) Rosa Barnak Kim Egozi Justine Fournand Arielle Keating Lilian Klug Amanda Leslie Kayla Longo Taylor Morgan Women’s Soccer (26) Ebba Blomqvist Luisa Daikeler Madison Davenport Ashley Grisley Emma Grissom Tiril Haga Thelma Hermannsdottir Emma Jacobs Hailey Landrus Alex Maxson Madison McElhone Jessica Monteiro Mary O’Hara Mia Omar Jenna Ortiz Abby Ribas Mia Sennes Molly Setsma Myla Sharpless Amber Tam Pernille Velta Sammy Vitols Brianna Waggoner Cassidy Wasdin Maddie Winch Carolynn Wotring Softball (22) Maya Amm Sommer Baker Sara Berthiaume Danielle Bieberle Claire Blount Kaitlyn Burke Madison Carlock Fayth Davis Christina Deibel Jolie Duffner Gretchen Ebert Riley Ennis Lynn Gardner Kara Lokeinsky Abigail Morgan Myah Murray Caryssa Orland Ashlee Patterson Ashley Stephenson Bailey Story Rachel Tarpley Sami Williams Women’s Swimming and Diving (24) Mackenzie Brown Malvina Catalano Shae Clifton Maya Cusumano Taylor Downs Tori Ellwood Miranda Fellowes Karissa Ganzer Danica Garbett Kirsten Hobson Holly Hopson Ashlyn Hunt Sharon Kok Abby Marshall Sarah Martin Grace Molinaro Alicia Mora Haley O’Meara Payton Remick Madison Rizzo Dominique Sauger Allyson Schwarz Kara Wilkins Kelsey Witkay Women’s Tennis (9) Nataliia Boltinskaia Radka Buzkova Ellen Caldwell Mariam El Zeki Natalie Kallmunzerova May Kimhi Karin Kozlejova Drew Randle Lauren Randle Women’s Track and Field (10) Dahlia Barnes Roshelle Francois Nyeira Gordon Linsey Moorer Naiya Pettway Vershae Quinn Lyric Schmalz Cara Simpson Anne-Catherine Wasser Searra Woods Volleyball (10) Cailea Gibbs Emily Hise Sigourney Kame Nikki Lakman Mimi Marion Sydney Nemtuda Sydney Riggs Camryn Vogler Jordan Yauch Stephanie Young – FAUSports.com -Florida Atlantic University Athletics: FAU Athletics is comprised of 21 intercollegiate teams involving 450 student-athletes that compete in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, volleyball, beach volleyball, cheer and dance.
