Pompano Beach will host large volleyball tournament

Talented and competitive beach volleyball players will want to compete in the 2024 Pompano Beach Volleyball Festival.
The event will celebrate sun and sand and will welcome pros, juniors and adaptive athletes.
It will take place at the Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier at 222 N Pompano Beach Boulevard on Thursday, December 5th – Sunday, December 8th
The inaugural Pompano Beach Volleyball Festival, hosted by the Florida Region of USA Volleyball, will feature 64 professional beach volleyball teams from 19 countries competing in the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event, showcasing emerging talent. Countries include Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, USA, and more.
The festival will also highlight adaptive athletes in the World ParaVolley Pan America Zone Beach ParaVolley event, with 2024 Paralympic Gold Medalist Nicky Nieves and champions Eric Duda and Chris Seilkop among the participants.
The event takes place at the Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier, which offers scenic views, local dining, and family-friendly activities. Free spectator admission is available, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating.

Some of the major highlights of the tournament include:
- BPT Futures-Pompano Beach (Dec. 5-8): Emerging and top athletes compete for world ranking points.
- World ParaVolley BPV RDE (Dec. 7-8): A training camp and triples tournament for adaptive and able-bodied athletes.
- USA Volleyball Beach National Qualifier (Dec. 7-8): Junior athletes compete for spots in the USAV National Championship.
