PANTHERS POSTGAME QUOTES

Forward Sam Reinhart

On today’s game against Tampa Bay:

“Against a team like this when you are down, first and foremost it’s more tiring trying to chase a game. At this point, everyone’s certainly tired, at this part of the year. At the third period tonight, they were outmanning us in certain areas…when you don’t get rewarded, when you don’t get those goals it’s tough to stick with it and I think we got away from that a little bit. Even though it was working, just obviously the goals weren’t coming.”
Forward Jonathan Huberdeau

On the series:

“….We’ve got to give everything we have, down 3-0, it’s a good team, who knows? We come back tomorrow. It’s a back-to-back. We can show up tomorrow, we can win a game and it’s a different series.”

Interim Head Coach Andrew Brunette

On going into Game 4 on the back-to-back:

“You get another chance. What an opportunity. You can bring it home. That’s got to be our focus. We are a good team when our back is against the wall and it looks bleak. So, hopefully we can find some energy and some passion and some joy in that. It’s more frustration than joy right now.”
