BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men’s tennis team closed out the 2022 fall season with two doubles teams and an individual ranked among ITA’s elite. Building from the team’s tremendous success, the program continues to work towards new heights with the signing of Mark Havlicek.

“I am extremely excited to welcome Mark to our family,” said Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU’s director of tennis. “He is an awesome player and will contribute a lot to our team. Mark has a ton of potential, and I can’t wait to start working with him. He will blend in perfectly with our team.”
Havlicek will come to “Paradise” in the fall of 2023. He has achieved a 1,324 rank in singles play and a 1,970 rank in doubles. Havlicek’s career-high ITF ranking is 216 and his career high UTR rank stands at 12.66. Havlicek hails from Louny, Czech Republic where he attended Podkrusnohorske Gymnazium Most.
