| The Coral Springs Our Town Festival took place this weekend and was very successful. Thousands of people came together and had a great time. They enjoyed a wide variety of traditional amusement park rides, food, games and various exhibits including a classic car show. There were various forms of entertainment including music and dance. Several community dance groups performed. John Swanson, of the Knights of Columbus spent the weekend cooking and serving hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken wings, fries and funnel cakes. “We had a good time today. The money we raise goes to community charity events,” he said. Gordie Bost, who helped organize the event said, “We all had a lot of fun. Thousands of people had a lot of fun this weekend.” Tara Goodman helped organize the dance event. “We had a good time today,” she said. |
