Oakland Park students win awards for high quality posters on water conservation

April is Water Conservation Month in Oakland Park, and a group of students were honored for their work in the 2025 Water Conservation Poster Contest.

This year’s contest brought forward inspiring artwork from talented young minds, highlighting the importance of preserving our most precious natural resource, water. The city is pleased to recognize the outstanding winners of this year’s contest:

These talented students used their artistic skills to creatively express the importance of water conservation, helping to spread awareness in our community. Their artwork beautifully illustrates how small actions, such as fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and practicing smart irrigation, can make a big difference in protecting our water supply.
