Public Works Complex to celebrate grand opening
From David Volz
The City of Oakland Park invites you to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our brand-new Public Works Complex. On February 13th at 11 a.m. at 5100 NE 12th Terrace the city will celebrate this momentous occasion. There will be refreshments and tours.
This cutting-edge facility, designed to enhance public services and support the City’s infrastructure, is a key part of Oakland Park’s commitment to building for its second century. The new complex will feature operations for water, wastewater, stormwater, and more, freeing up five acres of land at the old facility on NE 5th Avenue that will be incorporated into a future phase of City Centennial Park. With this investment of over $26.5 million, Oakland Park continues to demonstrate its dedication to growth, sustainability, and service excellence
