FROM COACH DOUG NEAGLE
“Tampa always fights and makes you earn every point. There were a lot of nerves for all the players getting started. It’s been a year and it’s to be expected. I feel our team settled down as the match went on and we played stronger down the line.”
UP NEXT
The Sharks are right back in action and on the road this weekend, headed to No. 9 Saint Leo for a key early-season ranked league matchup with the Lions. The Sharks defeated SLU in their only meeting last year, topping the Lions 4-0 on a neutral court at the DII Indoor Nationals in Oklahoma.
