NASCAR Powerball Playoff: 12 lottery players advance in race to $1 million

$1 million drawing to be broadcast live from 2025 NASCAR Championship Weekend™

JOHNSTON, Iowa (Sept. 13, 2025) – Twelve lottery players are one step closer to winning a VIP trip for two to NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Phoenix Raceway® and entry into a nationally televised drawing to win $1 million!

Powerball® and NASCAR® announced today, during the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on USA Network, the 12 lottery players who made it through the latest elimination drawing in the NASCAR Powerball Playoff™. The 12 lottery players advancing in the national Powerball promotion, include:

The four lottery players eliminated from the NASCAR Powerball Playoff have each won $2,500, they include:

The NASCAR Powerball Playoff features a series of elimination drawings that mirror the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs™, with the field of lottery players being reduced from 16 to 12 to 8 to 4 finalists. Players win cash prizes based on their elimination position, ranging from $2,500 to $1 million!

Four finalists will win a VIP trip for two to NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Phoenix Raceway®, Oct. 31 – Nov. 2. In addition, the four finalists will have a 1 in 4 chance to win $1 million in a special drawing televised live on NBC before the start of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.

The next drawing in the NASCAR Powerball Playoff will be for the Round of 8. The eight lottery players advancing in the playoff will be announced during the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 5. The four players eliminated from the Playoff at that time will win $5,000 each. The race will air live on USA Network, HBO Max, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at 3 p.m. ET.

The VIP trip includes roundtrip airfare for two to Phoenix, three nights hotel accommodations – double occupancy, two Ally Curve Hospitality Club passes for both the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race on Nov. 1 and the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Nov. 2, two passes for VIP experiences at Phoenix Raceway during the NASCAR Championship Weekend including NASCAR Cup Series™ VIP access, NASCAR team hauler tour, MRN radio booth tour, pace car rides, Victory Lane access, all meals, and ground transportation to scheduled events and activities.

Each lottery player entered the national Powerball promotion through a participating state lottery. Lotteries that participated in the 2025 NASCAR Powerball Playoff, include Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Indiana (Hoosier), Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Last year, Louisiana Lottery player Meagan Lewis, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was declared the NASCAR Powerball Playoff Champion and $1 million winner in a special drawing broadcast live from Phoenix Raceway before the start of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.
