CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The No. 34 University of Miami men’s tennis team (9-6, 2-4) swept the Colgate Raiders (8-6, 1-2), 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Hurricanes clinched the doubles point and grabbed impressive wins on every singles court for the shutout.

At the top court, Martin Katz and Antonio Prat earned the 6-0 win over Benito Vlassis and Josh Israel, followed by Mehdi Sadaoui and Jules Garot securing the opening on court two, 6-2, over Aidan Chung and Tim Viding.

Garot secured the 6-1, 6-0 win against Graham at the No. 5 spot, before No. 41 Katz earned an impressive 6-1, 6-0 win over Vlassis. Prat then clinched the win after grabbing the 6-1, 6-1 victory over Lee at the No. 2 spot.

Playing out the match, Sanchez finished next with a 6-2, 6-1 win against Israel, followed by a 6-3, 6-2 win from Sadaoui over Seth on court four. Finally, Maximo Oberto Calleri took down Falcon, 6-2, 6-1 on court six to complete the sweep.

Miami will remain home to host ACC matchups with Georgia Tech and Clemson, on March 21 and 23, respectively.
