Last night the Red Wings equipment manager Paul Boyer celebrated his 2000th game, 26 years on the road with the Wings since joining the staff in 1996. His face was gleaming on the BIG screen at Madison Square Garden…

What boy does not dream of this!  Everyone was cheering as you can probably guess and it showed how excited all of the team was for his accomplishment!!!  It definitely is evident how much they have appreciated his hard work and dedication over the years. Like all of the support staff this means countless nights, weeks and months away from family.

The Red Wings lost to the Rangers 5-1, continuing on a 12 game losing streak. After the game, Wings center Dylan Larkin said, “It frustrating,” Dylan Larkin said after Wednesday’s 5-1 loss to the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. “Call it what you want – it’s frustrating right now. It’s tough to try to find the answer when it’s night after night. We try different things, different lineups. We can’t seem to generate a full 60 minutes, a full complete game.”

The Red Wings will resume play at home on Friday, as they will take on David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins.
