DETROIT – The NBA G League and the Motor City Cruise announced their 2022-23 regular season schedule, presented by Henry Ford Health.  The Cruise will open the season on the road against the Cleveland Charge on Friday, November 4.  Motor City will play its home opener at Wayne State Fieldhouse on Monday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. versus the Windy City Bulls.

Season ticket packages, starting as low as $120, are available at www.cruisebasketball.com.  Single-game and tickets will go on-sale on Wednesday, September 7 at 12:00 p.m. on cruisebasketball.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

The NBA G League will begin the 2022-23 campaign with each team taking part in the Showcase Cup, making up the first 18 games of the season, starting on November 4.  The Showcase Cup, which debuted last year for the first time, creates a new level of excitement for fans during the early part of the season as well as an incentive for players to earn a spot in the Showcase Cup Championship.

Teams will be separated into four regional pods where they will play games against one another in their respective G League markets. The teams with the best winning percentage in each regional pod, as well as the four teams with the next best win-percentage across the league, will go play a single-elimination tournament at the NBA G League Winter Showcase between December 19-22 and compete for the Showcase Cup.

Following the G League Winter Showcase, team records will reset and a traditional regular season with 32 games will begin on December 27. During the regular season, teams will be split into Eastern and Western conferences, and the 2022-23 playoffs will solely be based on the records from the respective 32 game season. The top six teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel, followed by the NBA G League Finals presented by YouTube TV in April 2023.
