FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men’s Soccer team opened up the 2025 campaign with an impressive 2-0 victory over the fifth-ranked Clayton State Lakers. Enrique Garcia Barelles and Santiago Hoyos Lopez both scored one goal apiece for the Sharks.

- Barelles kicked off the action in the 38th minute with a laser into the back of the net off an assist from Lopez.
- In the 56th minute Lopez scored the Sharks second goal of the match, ultimately sealing the 2-0 victory for NSU.
Nova Southeastern will be back in action on Saturday, September 6th at 6:00 pm as they take on Flagler at the NSU Soccer Stadium.
