MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released its men’s soccer SSC Preseason Coaches’ Poll on Wednesday morning. The Sharks were picked to finish fifth in the league, earning 65 points and one first-place vote.
The Sharks lost in last year’s SSC Quarterfinals against Tampa in an SSC thriller. They finished the season with a 7-5-3 overall record and a 6-3-1 record in conference play. Despite the early exit in the postseason, NSU made its presence felt at home, accumulating a 6-0-1 record at the NSU Soccer Stadium.
The Sharks return Henrik Dahl, Noah Holtschoppen, Sunao Yamamoto, Amedeo Tufano, Markus Rokseth, Santino Scerbo, Jamie Bulloch, Theo Oherwall, Noah Gjervik, Matteo Innocenti, Massimo Natoli, Mani Steinbjornsson, and Nikolas Ricardo.

The Nova Southeastern Sharks will kick off their 2025 campaign with back-to-back home matches against Clayton State on Thursday, September 4th, and Flagler College on Saturday, September 6th.
