ORLANDO, Fla. – The 17th ranked Nova Southeastern University Sharks Men’s Golf completed play in the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Rio Pinar Golf Club on Tuesday. Finishing in ninth place (+39/386/381/376), the Sharks team leader Jorge Berea finished individually in fourth (+1).

RESULTS

- Jorge Berea, (T-4th/72/74/71) had a fantastic front nine with an eagle, two birdies and five pars. Berea hit the turn and collected two birdies and four pars to finish the day one-under. Berea finished the tournament at one-over and tied for fourth.
- Elias Mardeni (26th/75/76/74) hit his stride on the fourth hole with a birdie, heading into the turn with four consecutive holes shooting par or better with an eagle and two birdies. On the back nine Mardeni added six pars to his total to end the day two-over and the tournament nine-over.
- Bruno Marques (78/75/75) began his third round with three pars, tallying a total of three birdies and six pars during the remainder of his final round, finishing 12-over for the tournament.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech (79/77/77) collected three birdies and eight pars in his final round, finishing 17-over.
- Will McGhie (82/79/79) with a birdie and nine pars, finished the event 24-over.
