Miami, July 8th, 2020 – Mediapro, the leading global production company, and the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation have renewed their agreement for the rights of baseball’s Caribbean Series 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions. The agreement includes rights for all media globally, except Mexico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
“This agreement is very important for both parties and confirms our commitment to sports. It also opens more opportunities after the global emergency that we are experiencing. Also, with this agreement we continue the expansion of the Mediapro brand in America and work on new revenue opportunities”, said Irantzu Diez, President of Mediapro US.
This agreement represents the continued diversification of Mediapro’s property with agreements with the WSBC, and the CBPC, promoting baseball.

The Caribbean Series (Spanish: Serie del Caribe), also called Caribbean World Series, is the highest tournament for professional baseball teams in Latin America. The tournament location is rotated annually among the countries and is normally played in February after all of the leagues have ended their national tournaments.
