11/20/2024 | Men’s Soccer BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic graduate senior Noah Kvifte has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for men’s soccer. The program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Kvifte completed a stellar two-year career at Florida Atlantic by scoring eight goals to tie for the team lead this season. He played in all 16 games and led the Owls with 20 shots on target. The Norwegian was named to the AAC First Team All-Conference.In the classroom, Kvifte is working on his master’s in business analytics. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. Leo University, where he majored in Business Administration Management and graduated with a 3.94 GPA. To be eligible for Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, maintain a 3.50 or better GPA, and have competed in at least 90 percent of their institution’s matches. Kvifte now advances to the Academic All-America ballot, which CSC members will vote on until Tuesday, November 26. Honorees for men’s soccer will be announced on December 10. Last year, senior Victor Claudel became just the second Florida Atlantic men’s soccer player in program history to be named an Academic All-American.
