9/8/2025 | Men’s GolfMYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men’s golf (-12) is four shots back of Florida Gulf Coast (-16) entering Tuesday’s final round at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate. Junior NaShawn Tyson is tied for second at -7, six shots behind Coastal Carolina’s Jack Lee. The Owls’ team score of 275 (-13) in round two was tied for the lowest of the day.Quick HitsAfter rain suspended play early on Sunday, the Owls still had nine holes to play on Monday to complete the first round.Tyson’s 68 (-4) led the way, highlighted by six birdies.He would carry the momentum into round two, adding another five birdies en route to a 69.Sophomore Biagio Gagliardi vaulted 31 places up the leaderboard with a second-round 66. Gagliardi (-5) is tied for eighth heading into Tuesday.All five competing Owls finished at par or better in round two.Guiherme Grinberg went out in +2 (38) but caught fire on the back nine.
