Gator Kayla DiCello and rest of Team USA won gold in Sunday’s Pan American Games team gymnastics final in Santiago, Chile.
The U.S. took team gold (165.196) at the National Stadium Sports Park, followed by the Brazil (161.564) and Canada (154.230).
Two with Gator ties competed all-around Sunday – DiCello for U.S. and freshman Anya Pilgrim for Barbados. DiCello was second in team all-around competition (54.565) to teammate Jordan Chiles (54.666) and both advance to Monday’s Pan Am all-around final. Pilgrim placed 27th in the all-around at 45.366.
