Jeremy Miranda and Trinity Thomas Joins Florida Gymnastics Coaching Staff

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two familiar faces for Florida gymnastics on the competition floor are back in similar or new roles.

Jeremy Miranda moves from volunteer to assistant coach and Trinity Thomas contributions to the Gators now continue as a student assistant coach.

The Gators volunteer coach for the past 16 season, Miranda will continue to oversee all creative aspects musically and choreographically for Florida floor routines as well as aid in the team’s coaching. His previous seasons at Florida included 14 NCAA Championship appearances, three NCAA team titles, 46 All-America honors in NCAA Championships’ floor competition (including the 2015, 2019 and 2022 NCAA champions), 11 Southeastern Conference floor champions, 20 NCAA Regional floor champions and 203 floor exercise titles.

“As it is my alma mater, Gator Nation truly holds such a special place in my heart. I cannot wait to step into this new role, connect with our staff and student-athletes on a deeper level, and inspire excellence and integrity in the classroom and on the competition floor. Florida Gymnastics has such an incredible history and I cannot be more excited about my new role and the future of this program. Go Gators!”
