JAGUARS SIGN WIDE RECEIVER TERRY GODWIN AS FREE AGENT

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-year WR Terry Godwin to a free agent contract, the club announced today.  

Godwin, 5’11, 185, was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (237th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft and was signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad on Sept. 10, 2019. Godwin spent Weeks 2-15 on Jacksonville’s practice squad until being placed on the team’s practice squad reserve/injured list on Dec. 19, 2019.

The Hogansville, Ga. native played collegiately at the University of Georgia and totaled 133 career receptions for 1,788 receiving yards, which ranked 11th and 13th in school history, respectively.
