(On how much OL Anton Harrison will play on Saturday) “He’s doing well, he’s progressing really well.
He’ll be fine for Saturday baring any setbacks in the next couple of days. We anticipate him playing, even
maybe a touch longer. It’s his first NFL game so maybe we see him in there a series or two after the ones
come out.”
(On injury update of CB Tyson Campbell) “Tyson is doing well. He’s still in the protocol. Part of that is
actual practice time. He’ll be on the grass today in uniform, dressed, he’ll be in an orange jersey.
Limited, no contact really. Hopefully he passes that and has a good day today.”
(On a timeline of OL Tyler Shatley’s return) “No, not really. It just all depends on the doctors and
medications and things like that to just make sure he’s in a good place.”
(On how WR Calvin Ridley has been able to pick up things quickly) “He has definitely been one that has
embraced his opportunity. You all understand his story and being away from football and he’s hungry
and he’s eager. He’s determined to get back out on the big stage and play well. I think one of the things
that makes it easy for Calvin, too, is to have guys like Trevor [QB Trevor Lawrence], Christian [WR
Christian Kirk], Zay [WR Zay Jones], Evan [TE Evan Engram], and Jamal [WR Jamal Agnew]. Those guys
have embraced him and welcomed him in and made him feel comfortable. Calvin has done a really nice
job of understanding our offense. I think we’re figuring him out now, he’s figuring us out, Trevor and
Calvin are figuring each other out a little bit. Those are all things that camp provides, a lot of
opportunities to get on the same page and see just how as a staff we can use him in games.”
(On playing WR Calvin Ridley longer in the preseason games) “No, not necessarily. I don’t need to see
him too much longer. I probably won’t play him much past the ones.”
(On if teams need to be aware of where WR Jamal Agnew is) “He’s one of those, for us, a Swiss army
knife. He can play every position on offense, he would probably want to play quarterback but we don’t
let him. He’s good with the ball in his hand whether it’s a jet sweep or handing him, you’ve seen us toss
him the ball a couple of times. That just comes from his special teams background. He’s smart, when you
can do certain things with him and I think defenses have to understand the type of player he is and how
explosive he is on the field. We can use him as a decoy, we can also use him as a primary. I think that’s a
really valuable asset to have in your offense.”
(On how large of a role RB Tank Bigsby will have) “No, I think you’ve still got to be careful with how
much you expand his role. I think he’s done a nice job so far, there’s still some learning to do and some
growing to do as a rookie. Keeping him where he is right now is a good thing and expand maybe as you
go. We’re only two weeks into camp and there’s a lot of football ahead of us, so we’re just going to
pump the brakes and make sure he’s good with what he can handle.”

(On what’s been seen out of DT DaVon Hamilton in the past year) “A lot. DaVon really showed up last
year, that’s why he got the extension. We wanted to keep him around. He’s one of the guys, one of the
leaders on the team and on the defense. He’s a big, powerful guy in there as a D-lineman. He can
generate some push, and that’s what you want in the middle of your pocket. He’s really a good run
defender. We’ve seen the same things this camp with him when the pads are on and his physicality and
what he brings to the D-line.”
(On OL Blake Hance’s involvement in the offensive line) “Blake is another one that can play a few roles in
the offensive line. He can play tackle for you; he can play both guard spots. He’s a swing guy. It’s
unfortunate right now with Tyler Shatley’s situation. Tyler would be the guy, but with Blake, he’s earned
the right to go in there and compete and get to start for Saturday’s preseason game. We’ll see how that
unfolds, but he’s a smart guy and he’s just quiet, comes to work everyday and puts in a good day’s work.
He’s really shown that he can play at this level, and he’s embraced his opportunity. From a coach’s
perspective, having a guy that can move around just a little bit gives you that versatility you look for.”
(On giving OL Walker Little some runs inside the offensive line this preseason) “I don’t know if there’s
going to be enough reps to do that right now.”
(On OL Cam Robinson playing in Saturday’s preseason game) “Oh, for sure. Yeah, for sure.”
(On training OL Cooper Hodges on the left side) “We haven’t yet, again, a young player just trying to
assume one spot with him. He’s done a nice job. The thing is now, when the lights get a little brighter on
Saturday night, that’s really when you get to see how well these guys can handle, one the information,
but how they can handle that game.”
(On advancement of backend of the roster) “I think we’re in a better spot. We’re encouraged by the
young guys that we’ve brought onto the team. Even the young guys from last year, you look at Chad
Muma [LB Chad Muma] as a young second-year linebacker who’s going to get plenty of time, not only
preseason, but the regular season. You look at the young secondary guys who are going to get a lot of
opportunities this training camp. That’s encouraging, and it gives you depth on special teams. There are

some key roles there that we can fill. I think we’re in a better position than we were a year ago depth-
wise, and it’ll be difficult at the end to make some challenging decisions.”

(On depth of his best coaching years in Philadelphia versus the depth of this team) “I think it’s
comparable, the difference here is that we’re a little bit younger starter-wise too. That’s a benefit, to be
a younger football team there. I do like where we are as a team, with the roster, the guys that are
competing for just positions, roles, spots on this team. That’s what I encourage, that’s what I’ve tried to
get out of training camp sometimes, to have those tough decisions to make at the end of camp.”
(On gauging confidence in depth of team by seeing at what players aren’t on the team anymore) “Well,
you’ve got to be careful. You’ve got to make good decisions, too. You got to make sure the guy you keep
is the right guy you keep. It tells you if you do have a guy that moves on and ends up being a role player
or possibly a starter, somebody that can contribute to another team, that tells you that your roster is
healthy.”
(On the urinals in the bathroom having data that can be used) “It’s just for the players. The data doesn’t
go anywhere. It’s not connected to Wi-Fi, it doesn’t go to an iPad in the training room and tell you that
you’re dehydrated, no. It actually does tell you within a relatively significant amount of hydration and

fluid and all that kind of stuff, I think it’s something you can really gauge yourself to see where you’re
at.”
(On if the urinals for the team are in his office as well) “No, no.”
(On how OL Anton Harrison has done with pads on at practice) “He’s done a nice job. He’s continuing to
improve and grow. I think the college game to the NFL game is different so he’s learning a few different
techniques that Phil [Offensive Line Coach Phil Rauscher] is teaching him. He’s just going to get better
with time and more reps on the grass, going against guys like Travon [OLB Travon Walker] and Josh [OLB
Josh Allen] and K’Lavon [OLB K’Lavon Chaisson]. He’s getting some quality work out there. He’s done a
nice job, he’s improving, and looking forward to watching him play.”
(On how the intensity was during live practice this week) “The intensity was great. It was coming off of
three days of pads and it had been pretty hot those three days. It’s encouraging to see even the health
of the football team and where we are, knock on wood. I look at it a little bit differently. I put the team
in those situations because I want to see who the mentally tough are. For the most part, everybody did a
nice job in the ones that got reps in there those two periods that we went live. It’s good to see. You
don’t do it a ton in training camp but it’s also good for the defense to tackle, ball carriers need to
understand to protect the football when you get hit and things like that. Overall, I wouldn’t say there’s
one guy or two guys that stood out, I just think as a team we did a nice job handling that day.”
(On getting encouragement from players making a strong second-year leap) “Yeah, it means that they’re
doing a nice job handling their role. Understanding what we’ve asked of them, and they’re just coming
in here and competing and showing that they deserve a spot on the team.”

(On how training camp has been going so far) “It’s been going great, I love being here playing the game I
love, being with a great group of guys, and just getting better every day.”
(On how his shoulder is feeling) “I’m all good, I’m just ready to play Saturday.”
(On if he has realization moments of being in the NFL) “A little bit, just going against the guys, the
intensity of everything, going everyday and every rep. It’s really just intensity, but not really.”
(On looking forward to preseason games) “I’m looking forward to it a lot, to get the game plan against
another opponent, go against new guys that aren’t your own teammates when you can really just let it
all loose. I’m excited to go out.”
(On how going against strong linebackers has helped his game) “It’s helped a lot. Those are great guys,
great defenders, pass rushers, and run stoppers. Just going against them everyday is going to make me
better. I like to say iron sharpens iron, so I think that’s a big thing I carry every day.”
(On if training camp has been a grind) “Definitely, just coming in since day one, you knew you were
going to come in and work. There are no letups, just getting to the goal we all want to get to. Just
coming in everyday and ready to work.”
(On how learning the playbook has been) “For me, I’d say it was a pretty easy transition getting the
playbook down, repping it everyday, repping it with the guys and the O-line. If I have questions asking
anybody like Coach Phil [Offensive Line Coach Phil Rauscher], Todd [Assistant Offensive Line Coach Todd
Washington], any of the players. They’re all open to help anytime so that’s been big for me.”
(On how it’s been to learn from strong offensive line veteran players) “It’s been great. I’m always asking
questions, no matter what. If it’s a little question, a big question, I’m always asking those guys and
they’re always answering them for me. They’re always open to it, so I’m never going to hold anything
back. If I have a question, I’m going to ask it. It’s been big, and they’ve just always been my support 100
percent.”
(On OL Brandon Scherff inspiring him to be better) “Definitely. That was a guy I watched growing up. He
played for my hometown team so watching him growing up and being the All-Pro that he is, playing
beside him now is just great. Trying to learn from him everyday and copy what he does everyday to
make myself great.”
(On if it is easy to see OL Brandon Scherff’s ability after working with him) “Definitely.”
(On if anything has surprised him so far in the NFL) “I wouldn’t say surprised, I would say it’s kind of
what I expected.”

(On if it’s hit him that Saturday is his first NFL game) “Yeah, I was sitting at home yesterday just thinking
about it. I couldn’t wait. It kind of hit me yesterday that it’s a couple days away. I’m just excited to go
out there and ball.”
(On if he’s excited to play as a starter on Saturday) “Definitely, especially since it’s my first time going
out there, being able to show my skillset against other opponents. Definitely.”
(On if any family is traveling to Dallas to watch him) “Yeah, my mom, my dad, and my brother are going
out there so it will be a good time.”
