GOLF: Miami Closes Out Clemson Invitational with 15th-Place Finish

SUNSET, S.C.— The University of Miami women’s golf team closed out play at the Clemson Invitational with a 15th-place finish, posting a team score of 895 (+31).

The three-day tournament, held at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, was played over 54 holes.

Stella Jelinek and Ashleen Kaur led the Hurricanes, each tying for 36th place with a three-round total of 221 (+5). Jelinek recorded rounds of 74, 73, and 74, while Kaur posted scores of 74, 72, and 75.

Barbora Bujáková was next for the Canes, finishing tied for 67th with a score of 228 (+12), highlighted by her third round score of 73 (+1).

Cloe Amion Villarino and Rebekah Gardner rounded out Miami’s lineup, both tying for 75th with a total of 230 (+14). Amion Villarino hit rounds of 71, 79, and 80, while Gardner posted scores of 75, 75, and 80.

Miami finished with team rounds of 294, 299, and 302.

The Hurricanes will return to action for postseason play on Thursday, Apr. 16 through Sunday, Apr. 19, to compete at the ACC Championship in Wilmington, N.C.
