The Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center will soon have a fully operational 27-meter high-diving platform. The Center showed off the diving platform which will be complete by December. Steven LoBue, a former high-diving World Champion dove off the board. Other world champion divers dove off the board as did local high school divers. This board is the first 27-meter high-diving platform in the Western Hemisphere and is a major part of Fort Lauderdale’s newly renovated Aquatic Center. The dive tower cost $8 million to build.
