9/2/2025 | Football BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic football team returned to the practice field on Tuesday with full preparation underway for the Florida A&M game scheduled for 6 p.m., this Saturday, at the newly minted Flagler Credit Union Stadium. The Owls and Rattlers have met one previous time, with Florida Atlantic coming away with the 38-8 victory back on October 30, 2004. In Week 1’s outing at Maryland, redshirt sophomore WR Asaad Waseem was the first to score for the Owls after collecting a 27-yard pass from redshirt junior QB Caden Veltkamp.. Fellow redshirt junior receiver Easton Messer recorded 15 receptions on the day, tying an FAU single-game record set by Anthony Crissinger-Hill versus Hawaii in 2004. Defensively, redshirt junior Leon Hart Jr. led FAU with 12 tackles while redshirt freshman DL Tycoolhill Luman had 1.5 tackles for a loss. ESPN+ PRESSER Click HERE.
