BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic administration, coaches, and staff gathered Thursday night to celebrate Touchdown in the Tropics.
The event was held in the Schmidt Family Complex Owl Perch in support of FAU student-athletes, the upcoming 2024 season, and Name Image and Likness, NIL). Guests were treated to amazing food, enjoyed live music, and heard from both Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White and Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman.

This tropical affair allowed White to proclaim many of the 2023-24 accomplishments to program supporters, many of whom have been involved with the football program since its inception. Ken LaVicka, the event emcee and play-by-play broadcaster for football and men’s basketball, peppered questions to Coach Herman, and the duo introduced guests to player accolades and their progress with the team.
