Here’s a rundown of how each performed during the 12th week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern): Active Owls (4) #0 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Houston Texans – It was a historic day for the Texans, who tied their single-game franchise record of eight sacks. Al-Shaair was a part of the fun with one of his own, his second sack of the season. He made a team-leading eight tackles on the afternoon, each of them holding the Tennessee Titans offense to five yards or less. The Texans came up just short to their division rival by a score of 32-27. Texans’ Record: 7-5 Next Game: at Jacksonville – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX) #66 Evan Anderson | DT | San Francisco 49ers – Anderson had the most impactful outing of his rookie season, stepping onto the field for a career-high 50% of the team’s defensive snaps. He made four stops, three of them solo tackles and one assist. San Francisco was defeated by the Green Bay Packers, 38-10. 49ers’ Record: 5-6 Next Game: at Buffalo – Sunday, 8:20 p.m. (NBC) #42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers – Playing in a Thursday night snowstorm, Pierre saw the field 12 times on special teams against the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers ultimately fell to their AFC North divisional rival by a score of 24-19. Steelers’ Record: 8-3 Next Game: at Cincinnati (and Hendrickson) – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS) #26 Devin Singletary | RB | New York Giants – Returning from the bye week, “Motor” touched the ball four times in his 21 snaps and recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season. It was the Giants’ only touchdown in their 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Singletary also added a 10-yard reception.
