ATHENS, GA – (Feb.25, 2019) – In the middle of three matchups on the road, the Florida Atlantic University men’s tennis team continued to be battle-tested, falling in a 5-2 decision as they completed the entire match Monday afternoon against Georgia.
Notables:
FAU (8-7) fell in doubles round
Picking up a win was Alvaro Fernandez Horta at No. 6. Despite losing the first set, he came all the way back to win, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4
At No.3, Mehdi Laalej also battled for a three-set win. He won the first, fell into a tie after the second, but won in extended time in the final result of the day, 6-4, 3-6, 10-6
