FAU Football Begins Week Two of Practice, Hosts Pro Day
BOCA RATON, Fla. – (March 26, 2019) – Florida Atlantic University football began the second week of practice Tuesday morning with a traditional practice and then activities moved to FAU Stadium where the outgoing Owls went through the paces of 2019’s Pro Day.
Once again, the practice fields were lined with high school coaches and players electing to take in the morning’s football session to learn while on spring break.
Notable – Practice
· 7 on 7 drills saw Brandon Robinson haul in a one-handed reception over his shoulder with a close defender
· Both Ahman Ross and Quran Hafiz broke up passes during 7 on 7
· James Pierre had an interception and return during team drills
Notable – Pro Day
· All told, 29 NFL scouts came out to Pro Day, along with three from the CFL and one from the AAF

The team will return to the field this Thursday at 9:30 a.m. While practices are closed to the general public, media members wishing to cover practice are asked to meet in the Tom Oxley Center lobby at 9:15 a.m. and then will be escorted on to the practice field at the proper time. The 2019 Spring Game is schedule for Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m. in the FAU Stadium. FAU Athletics is comprised of 21 intercollegiate teams involving 450 student athletes that compete in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, volleyball, beach volleyball, cheer and dance.
