GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Among the almost 4,000 graduates celebrating their accomplishments in the University of Florida’s fall commencement ceremonies this weekend are 38 current and former Gator student-athletes. Twenty earn undergraduate degrees and eight claim master’s doctor’s degrees. In addition, nine receive graduate or undergrad certificates.
Graduate Notes:
* Florida’s fall graduates includes two who were part of conference championship teams – Fisher Jameson (2023 baseball) and Ben Cote (2022, 2023, 2024 swimming)
* Kendra Falby won 2024 and 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove Award (center field)
* Six completed master’s degrees – Thomas Domain (football), Erin Engel (volleyball), Ashley Klingenberg (cross country/track), Michala Magee (gymnastics), Caleb Rillos (football), Taylor Spierto (football)
* Eight graduate cum laude -Alfonzo Allen (football), Ben Cote (swimming), Allison Drummond (cross country/track), Kara Hammock (softball), Hayden Hansen (football), Scott Isacks (football), Fisher Jameson (baseball), Mike Sturdivant (football),
* Two fall graduates earned All-America honors – Kendry Falby (softball) and Jake Slaughter (football)
* Dominique Easley will be the only one among the almost 4,000 UF grads this weekend with a Super Bowl championship ring, as the New England Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX in his rookie season.
* Thirty earned Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll accolades.
