BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University Owls took to the practice fields intent on using 100 percent effort for the purposes of getting better. It was not a light day because there is a scrimmage scheduled for Saturday and the pads were off. Friday was another day to get better, another day to compete and another day to prepare like a champion.
The first fall scrimmage is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday in FAU Stadium. The scrimmage will be a part of the 2023 FAU Fan Fest presented by Duffy’s. Fan Fest, which is free and open to the public, will feature the scrimmage, but will also be an opportunity for fans to meet and secure team posters for football as well as autographs from the FAU cross country teams as well as women’s soccer.
The Owls also welcomed FAU alum Dante Cousart, who was a wide receiver and returner from 2015-19.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Graduate quarterback Casey Thompson connected with the Owls 2022 leading receiver junior LaJohntay Wester
