George Blaha Hall of Fame Night on Dec. 5 Headlines Theme Night Schedule including Fan-Favorite

Popular College Series and Heritage Series Group Nights highlight Groups Schedule
DETROIT – Oct. 23, 2025 – The Detroit Pistons announced today the club’s 2025-26 home game promotional, theme night and group night schedules.
The Pistons schedule will include 14 giveaways and 24 theme nights, tipping off with the Home Opener on Oct. 26 vs. the Boston Celtics where all fans in attendance will receive commemorative Home Opener t-shirts presented by Michigan First Credit Union.
The Pistons will recognize Pistons’ play-by-play announcer George Blaha on Dec. 5 as the Pistons take on the Portland Trail Blazers. Blaha was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame last summer with the Curt Gowdy Electronic Media Award and is entering his 50th season as the voice of the Detroit Pistons. The first 2,500 fans will receive a George Blaha bobblehead as part of his Hall of Fame recognition Night.
The Pistons will also present five additional bobblehead giveaways this season featuring Jaden Ivey presented by BELFOR (Jan. 15), Isaiah Stewart (Feb. 1), Ron Holland (Feb. 23), Cade Cunningham presented by StockX (March 12) and Ausar Thompson (March 23). Additional giveaways include a special Los Pistons poster designed by local artist SW Freddy, fuzzy socks presented by Toledo Zoo, a bucket hat presented by Xfinity, a Hooper keychain, a Pistons scarf, a Hooper plush toy presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, a 313 Day chain and Fashion Glasses presented by Hutch’s Jewelry.
The Pistons will host eight City Edition Nights presented by Lunazul Tequila, tipping off on Nov. 18, featuring the Pistons’ 2025-26 Nike City Edition Uniforms and seven “In It For My City” theme nights – including Pistons 313 Day on March 13 – that lean into spotlighting local performers, highlighting small businesses and celebrating all things Detroit.
Additional theme nights include Breast Health Awareness Night in partnership with Henry Ford Health, Hoops for Troops, Sports Betting Night presented by BetRivers, the Pistons Season of Giving Holiday Game presented by Kroger, First Responders Night presented by BELFOR, Kids Day presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, HBCU/NPHC Night, Women’s Empowerment Night, Pride Night, Basketball for All Night presented by Priority Health and Fan Appreciation Night presented by Hutch’s Jewelry with Black History Month celebrated during each February home game, and Women’s Empowerment Month celebrated throughout March home games.
