As part of NFL Votes, a league-wide, nonpartisan initiative that supports and encourages civic engagement, the Detroit Lions has partnered with the Michigan Secretary of State to host a “mock election” for new and first-time voters during the watch party. With the November election approaching, the activation will provide fans with hands-on practice of filling out and submitting a ballot by voting for their favorite Lions player. By simulating the voting experience, the Lions aim to highlight the importance of voting and encourage fans to become informed and active voters.
